'No Racecourse in the world has a more historic setting than Chester's Roodee'. With one of the most historical settings and with records of racing that dates back to the early sixteenth century it is the country's oldest racecourse. With years of history in racing, Chester races offer all the excitement and entertainment associated with a day at the races.

The racing calendar commences with the prestigious May Meeting. Held over three days that boasts the Chester Vase, Chester Cup and the Ormonde Stakes.
